Artist: Michael Kariuki

Michael Kariuki was born on February 28, 1992. He is the 5th born in a family of six. He has been a day care programme core member in L’Arche Kenya since May 2009.

He initially worked in the candles workshop. Later he worked for our crafts workshop, and finally carpentry workshop.

He is a hard working young man, who likes to show new people around both in and out of the workshops. He is also a prayerful person as depicted in his artwork and even serves during mass.

He is a smart dresser and very neat. He interacts well with all the people in the community and is particularly helpful both to fellow core members as well as assistants and other staff.
